Darren Mark

Darren has been with Crowe Horwath since 1993. Prior to this he spent five years at Price Waterhouse in Christchurch in the audit and assurance team where he obtained his Chartered Accountant qualification.
He has experience working alongside a range of businesses in many sectors and sizes and has a comprehensive understanding of client needs. Darren is able to assist with advice on business strategy and financial structures. During his career he has been involved in a number of independent appraisals of businesses in financial difficulty, working closely with banks to resolve funding issues.
With his wealth of knowledge, Darren thrives on helping business people be as successful they can be. He has the ability to listen and provide solutions that work for each business and organisation, backed by his decades of experience.
Darren’s has particular skills and expertise in: strategic and business planning; succession and exit planning; business restructuring; business and share valuations; buying and selling businesses and due diligence. He is able to give businesses advisory support across a range of business stages and needs from technical to growth or exit issues.
