| Professional Profile | I am currently a business owner/Franchisee and have completed Advisory Board training. Prior to my entry into business I was a Police Officer, qualified to the rank of Inspector and a Police Negotiator. During my 22 years in Police I gained in depth knowledge in the fields of Investigation, Management, Leadership, Organisational Development, Human Resource Management, Emergency Management, Project Management, Change Management and leading teams. I also relieved in roles that brought me into close contact with Executive members, Government Agencies and Government Ministers. Having gone from Public to Private sector I understand very well how hard this transition can be and have a good understanding of the pros and cons of starting your own business, in particular businesses that are Franchised. I would love to help others who are venturing into these areas and help them with knowledge I have gained from both my challenges and successes.
