After marketing and management roles at the New Zealand Dairy Board, and having successfully introduced the toll-free 0800 and user-pays 0900 services on behalf of Telecom New Zealand, Paige (with his wife, Janet – a successful businesswoman in her own right) established New Zealand’s leading call centre consulting company, TARP NZ Ltd. Specializing in developing complaint management processes and improving client’s customer experience, the company grew to more than 300 employees across Australasia and in 1998 they sold their stake to an American based investor. Paige then consulted to Telstra Corporation in Australia helping expand their global businesses into the UK, Korea, Hong Kong, Japan and the USA.
