On the 23rd May Moore Stephens Markhams Wellington sponsored the, “All About Advisory Boards” workshop in Wellington.
Out of the various training we offer, “All About Advisory Boards,” is by far out most popular and is highly anticipated each year. The full day training course focuses on providing a unique and excellent opportunity for business owners and advisors to meet and work together.
This board table was full for this workshop, with a wide variety of interesting business owners and advisors. It was clear even at the registration stage, that this was going to be a very special event. The communications via email and phone prior to meeting in person started building a warm and engaging relationship.
Thank you to Moore Stephens Markhams for hosting us at their premises and taking excellent care of us. The day seemed to fly as it was full of fascinating stories shared by everyone at the table. Helen Down, director of Advisory Boards NZ took the group on an interactive, engaging and inspirational day of Advisory Board governance training.
In the past with each workshop we ran, a new Advisory Board is setup. It was definitely the case again as another Advisory Board was initiated by two of our workshop participants. A business owner and an advisor who made a connection immediately are now working together on a new Advisory Board. It’s exciting to see this opportunity being seized as part of the workshop follow-up.
Our Wellington group very quickly connected and so much, so they wanted to meetup again in a months time. Their request for a Meetup was granted and we met on the 15th June hosted by Peter Murphy, at Crombie Lockwood Wellington. It was interesting to hear how each person had integrated their workshop training over the month.
Secure your seat at the next workshop.
